I have no experience with the 2015 production. After my struggle with the circa 1990 versions, I pretty well gave up on Lionel's tubular switches. Plenty of issues with them are discussed here on the Forum, but the year of production isn't always stated in the thread. I guess I'm not patient enough to separate the sheep from the goats!
