To the left of the camper, a picture of one of the MTH flashing barricades(had to time that one just right!). Found them for cheap on eBay so I went for it and am very happy.
From the west end of the layout, behind the prewar lamp is the MTH barricade controller. Inside the Bing passenger station is one of the model power peel and stick lights
Bought a large grass mat and put it down on about 2 and a half feet of the West end of my layout, looks so much better.
Remember the FasTrack transition pieces and earthen bumpers mentioned above- see below:
finally got this Corgi “Forward March” 1:50th Scale Toy soldiers set on eBay. Came with the half-track(snow covered vehicle) and 3 1:50 Scale soldiers- 2 of which are patrolling the border
