I got this book off Amazon, two days ago. Ever since I was over in Europe back in 1988, I’ve always had an interest in Dutch railroads. The first book on the subject I've been able to find in English.
Over 30 years later, I now doubt I’ll ever set foot on Dutch soil again, even though I’d love to go back there, especially in the summer time.
At the time, I was quite unfamiliar with the country and its culture, but in a pre-internet era where I didn’t even know which books to order to read more, I went and figured it all out. Heck, I couldn’t even find myself on a map half the time I was there but it was an amazing time.
Anyway, it’ll be neat to read about this.
