First, thanks for the great photos of your goodies in this post, and second, I did not know K-Line made a CZ RPO! I did an online search a few months ago with several different search criteria, and got nothin'! So, thanks for letting me know. I converted the Empire State version I purchase from Trainz to CZ. Trainz did not have the skirt part, so they gave me a reasonable discount on the RPO because I wanted to keep it. I ordered another K-Line 15", New York Central diner car, for parts. Besides the skirt, I need two new trucks for a 15" CZ diner car I bought used for $40 and the bearing caps were completely worn out. The axles just flop around in them! I've never seen bearing end caps that worn out before!!!
While I am waiting for the 15" donor car to show up, I upgraded the interior of the RPO car, wood floor, paint, more people figures, baggage, and freight. Also upgraded to LED lighting. I'll post the process in another thread as soon as the donor shows up and I've installed the skirts.
Not sure if you were able to zoom in and see it but the RPO is ESE not CZ. The baggage car is CZ which is pretty hard to find (K4613-10903). I have not come across the CZ diner you have (K4613-10842). The only 15" CZ set I see on a regular basis is the 4 car dome set.
Anyhow I am plan on "cheating" when get my layout done and just intermix the ESE cars with the 4 CZ domes and the baggage. If I decide to do it more correctly, I would buy ESE coaches and parlor cars and change interiors to sleeper configurations and Nameplates to CZ. Think probably that's what you are doing.
