Went to a local train show in Springfield OH last Sunday. Purchased the following:
Lionel 138 Operating water Tower. - It works too. It was dirty from being on a layout for years but it cleaned up nicely.
Next I picked up a Lionel Rico Station in pieces. This too is dirty but will clean up just fine.
I got a New in the Box Walthers O/027 Steel Water tower still wrapped in the plastic.
I got a Lionel Smoking UP Caboose that was in the wrong box. The box says CP. This too was very dirty washed up just fine. The Sleuthe Smoke unit works too. I still have to clean up the trucks and reset the coupler arm spring, but I'm looking forward to running this on my layout. This unit has what looks to be a regulator board for the smoke unit. Also, Anyone know if the trucks come apart? It looks like the side frames are staked.
Lastly I picked up an operating Milk car w/ platform. The wiring under the car needs replaced, but I was told it works. Just need to get some milk cans. The pick-up shoes are in great shape! Looks like it had very little run time. Dated 4-55.
