Chuff rates

Mysteriously, my RK Imp Mike changed from 4 chuffs per rotation to 8. I've tried to edit it through the advanced menu setting and both factory and feature reset- to no avail. By the way it's Proto 3. Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks
