CW80 always on

C&OsteamOGR Forum Member

Plugged in a used CW80 to fast track for grandkids junior layout. I was using the transformer for accessories. (It was constantly humming) When I plugged it in, a conventional engine started running quickly before moving the throttle. Should I just trash this CW80?
