Crazy TrainOGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBERDIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

Took it for a short run. Initial impressions:

Paint looks flawless
smooth runner w nice slow starts
visible wheel slip on the tender during faster starts -cool
i swear it’s Dave Olsen’s voice on some of the announcements

A couple things to watch out for (see the pics below):

The black wire in the first pic was resting on top of the front drivers. I folded it up and tucked it in as shown. It wasn’t noticeable until going around a curve.
The linkage in the 2nd pic is very low and just barely clears my DZ1000 switch machines. This linkage is on each of the 3 engines.

Suggest taking your first run slowly and turn the sound all the way down to listen and look for any binding, rubbing.
