Have always liked the Warbonnet diesels having had numerous examples over the years. Only last year was I able to acquire a full ABBA set of the plated F units that are so beautiful (thank you Mr Jones). MTH Premiere here.

The plating on your set really pops, Sam - beautiful. Like you, I have always liked the warbonnet scheme, so much so that, when I got my first (and only!!!) full time job out of college, I wandered 3 blocks down Park Avenue South to Madison Hardware and picked up an ABA set… unfortunately unplated!!! The 2383 AA pair was produced between 1958 and 1966. The 2243C B unit was produced between 1950 and 1955 (I wanted the black trucks to match the A units). Other than the nose decals, they remain in pretty good shape for being at least 60 years old!!! I wish I held up as well
