Stainless is great for anti corrosion properties, but remember the strength stiffness goes up, so bending radii less than 072 is a task.

As far as wheel wear, don't worry about it... there are bigger fish to fry. Like that extra 2 inches your going to need to clear that hot water heater so you can package that critical turn on your layout.
