Uhm, check the crime  reports near this home, ..whoa.

yes, because model trains are so much easier to fence than jewelry, cameras and electronic toys.

*sigh*

Not sure why it matters what's actually in your home? High crime area = high crime area no matter whether the contents of your home are easier or harder for thieves to sell.  You still have at the very least a personal property or worst family safety issue if your residence is broken into.

The listing does seem to contradict itself slightly, it says "Lowest" (green color) for crime then has the harrowing listings about shootings and other.  (looking at the map and zooming out, I was able to find the many incidents of GTA, and probably a few of the burglaries in the list, but not the shootings in the list - so maybe those were farther away, like Reno proper).

I have no handle whatsoever on the Reno, NV (or suburbs) real-estate market, but I'd consider that a high price for a home if there truly is a significant crime problem in the area.  Looks like the whole neighborhood is in that range (+/- ~ $100k) if you believe the map at the bottom of the page for other homes for sale in the area.
