I use a variety of tethers, for some I buy the MTH 10-pin tethers, they usually have plenty of wires for all the functions. I have a variety of connectors and tethers in my parts box, sometimes I can find something suitable there.

For small stuff, I use the MiniTronics MicroMini Connectors.
