I find that I have inadverently collected WAY too many of these types of cars. I have seen some folks paint them and/or convert them to other liveries, posssibly not "exactly" like the real ones, but similar. It would be better than selling them at a loss or making them hanger queens. Has anybody done this and if so, what have you done with those cars where the name plate is not glued on, but rivetted? Have you somehow covered over the "Lionel Lines" name with a new decal and/or the name of the car? I am curious what others with extras of these cars have done. Thanks.
