The gearboxes should have "grease screws" on the bottom of the chassis between the drivers, you can squirt .5 to 1.0 ml in each. As far as the universal joint, I was able to get at mine with a long needlepoint oiler between the boiler an the wheels without taking anything apart, with the ariculation of your bigboy you may be able to also.
