What about the TMCC Crane and Boom cars that have been available for a few years now? IMO they were "vision line" status worthy well before antything else.
I have one of the Lionel haunted houses, while not a terribly complex accessory has fun motion,lights and sounds, as well as a fairly decent creepy appearance.
