LionMaster is the designation given to engines with a high degree of detail but that are not true O scale in dimensions. LionChief is the name of the control system that primarily replaced TMCC in lower tier engines such as found in starter sets. Over the years, enhancements were made to the LionChief system to where we now have version 2.0 which includes TMCC as part of its functionality.
