Problem is that the "world-wide" appeal quite possibly would not result in sufficient sales to justify/amortize the capital cost of the tooling and design effort, at least not at a RailKing price. Note the 44-ton is a Premier model, and priced higher than a RailKing diesel. Same was true about the PS2 single motored Alco/GE/IR boxcab MTH produced about 10 years ago.
