I finally got around to looking at the LW again.
No loose wires or solder joints that I can tell. The joints, under the windings, is anyone's as to weather they are sound or not.
Checking Greenberg's repair manual, everything appears normal.
I cleaned; wiper arm contact point, windings where wiper arm travels, "U" post contact point, all whistle control contacts.
Question; Could I temporarily bypass the whistle controller and rectifier?
If this proves to be the cause, Is there a fix?
