Maintenance Question-CC 2340 GG-1?

Hi. I have a 2340 GG-1 (The CC version reissued by Lionel a few years back) that's developed a weird operating quirk. It runs great; but the couplers (magnetic; not coil couplers) have developed a habit of popping open easily when that GG-1 is pulling a heavy load. What is the best way to adjust the couplers on this G so it'll pull a nice, long train like she was meant to?
