Thanks. Maybe I should have been more clear with my question since I am new to repairing MTH. I am old Postwar Lionel guy. To be able to test the smoke fan plug, I need to remove the body. Since the body appears to get power through the plug from the tender to the chassis, do I need to connect jumpers from the chassis to the body in order to complete the 6v bulb test? If you could outline the steps I need to take, it would be very helpful.
