Can be broken wire under insulation so check carefully. Also did the speaker have gray powder around magnet. Since 16 ohms I assume this is a PS-2 5V, did not look up the engine. Those speaker were susceptible to disintegrating magnet. Also, I have had a fair amount of speakers that ohm correct but do not work under power once coils starts vibrating. SO try a different 16 ohm speaker. G

Yes, the speaker had a lot of gray powder on it, so I will order a new speaker from MTH and I'll go from there. Thank you.
