Five things come to mind.

New Battery

Do a Reset 18

The Proto 1 Reset chip

Possibly a de-select chip issue, that requires a replacement.

Replace Proto1 board set.

You can try the first 2 items easy enough, the last 3 probably needs to go to one of us service centers.
