I assume you most likely damaged the capacitor nearest the jack? That is a nice to have but not strictly required component IMO.
On severely damaged ones or instances where a customer attempted self repair previously, I have just used a different electrical connector system and wires rather than a jack mounted board.
So the cap you pointed out does appear to be the same one although it is soldered differently in my case. It is literally soldered to the broken off connector.
Since all the boards pads are ripped off, I think going with a different connector would be easiest. Thank you and @gunrunnerjohn for the info! I just wish I saw GRJ's original post before...
