Again, in my most recent example, the previous repair attempts or the jack damaged ripped off any evidence of that tiny surface mount filter cap at the jack. Mine is operating without it. That sorta T shaped trace was damaged and i had to rebuild what was left of it. That whole area where that tiny capacitor between 5V and GND plane was gone.
