John, thanks for the recommendation! I ordered one of these and it arrived today. It's going to be a lot faster and easier than using the spring loaded sucker I've been using for years. With the old one, many de-soldering tasks seemed like they would have benefited from having a third hand. Now I have just enough. cool At least until the next great thing comes along I didn't realize I 'needed'.
