N&W expert needed

I have a few books on the N&W, and some pix of them as they began to dieselize, one with a diesel pulling a passenger train while they were still all steam, but did the N&W ever have an E8 , an FT or similar in their livery? I see they inherited GE El-2's from the Virginian when they merged, but unsure if they repainted them. They had GP's and GE's C's, but apparently no versions of the Covered Wagons. Did they?
