Reply to "Need Card-Stock Building Fronts"

bobby, one of the easiest and most realistic ways I have found to do large background buildings is to get some of the wood or brick paper ( clever models which has some  of the largest selection or micro-mark, etc.). mount it on inexpensive foam board. for realism, cut out windows and door holes and install tichy windows and doors. now you are on your way to a more three dimensional look on a flat surface. you can make these flats as large and long as you want. you can add fire escapes (also from tichy), add billboards on these flats to heighten the realism.I have even added a bay window or two from scrap wood. if you have a little extra room, add a 1 1/2 or 2 inch roof section and put vents, chimneys, signs or even water towers up there.it is amazing how it will not look like just a flat. btw, you can easily weather these texture papers with some chalks and a soft wide brush which will give theblood or brick some feeling of texture and dimension.
