Those are real pictures of former NS SD's. I've operated several 3400's. They were former Conrail units,some UP.

I've also operated several ex-CSX SD-40's we bought from rental companies that were painted over and the letters spray painted on the cabs.

As long as they have initials and numbers on the side their good to go.
