Have you thought about a walk in layout using a wrap around 054 dogbone open at the entrance at say 40" with second loop with a bridge across the opening at say 48-52"?

This would be an around the wall design that would put you and your observes in the middle of the action.

I would hesitate using curves smaller than 054.
