To my eye the cast springs on Atlas-Roco and IM trucks look better than some metal ones as they have a heavier looking coil. I've had no operational issues with either.

One nice feature of the Atlas-Roco truck & bolster set up is the three point suspension- they ride steady even over uneven track.
