Here is a photo of the Triboro Bridge under construction in the 1930s. The towers in place and cables stringing underway. On Randall Island, the piers for the roadway are in place. To the right of the photo would be the Hellgate Bridge and trackways over Randall 's Island . Passing under the Bridge is a steam tug with an interesting Barge at her side.
