Did you visit any heritage railways while in the UK? If so, you now have license (or is it licence? ) to run almost anything British, since the heritage railways have an example of just about everything. AAMOF, portraying a heritage railway is a common thing among British modelers (modellers) who want to have a prototypical justification for running something from an earlier era. I'm surprised that we don't see that in the US model train community.
