Pete,

An incredibly beautiful scene, but also a sad one.  To imagine that both Lackawanna and Erie Mainlines to Chicago once ran through here compared to what it looks like today leaves me with a sense of great loss.  Considering that the federal government was looking to Erie Lackawanna to remain independent from Conrail to create some form of competition in the northeast, one would never see that today in the condition of the line.

However, what an amazing scene to model with that lightweight rail and weather-beaten structure.
