Yes I did Patrick. I have a Samsung Galaxy S25. Sometimes I mount it to a tripod if I need my hands free but this was hand held. I can sit in my office chair and rest my elbows on the arm rests. When I raised it up I had two hands on the phone. Being seated gives a solid base so the camera doesn't shake.
The scrap loads are made from stainless-steel scouring pads. The start of the project can be seen here. It's goes on for a couple pages.
