Mel, the two NH 44T's were Hallmark Brass models, they came custom painted. . Heavy, noisey geared models but serious tractive models. I really liked the early green paint scheme. The MEC 44T was the first brass unpainted model I ever had. What a lot of dough for it! Made by W&R enterprises. I had it custom painted plus interior , had glass windows , just ran slowly and flawlessly. The only problem was the numbers were placed incorrectly right below the logo not on the ends beneath the red stripes. I had to black it out and add the #14 in the correct places. There is a paint irregularity where I blackened out the custom painters mistake!
All of these engines are from my past. I made a number of people happy making them theirs. Still it was a pleasure owning these three above.
