Thanks for getting us started this week Mel. Crazy weather here on LI yesterday. We had about 5" of rain in 12 hours. Lot's of street flooding, the NYC Subways were underwater. Crazy day!

I'm also having fun running my latest.
Penn Central SW-1200 (Lionel Legacy/ BT), has been busy in the yards and on locals shifting cars. The crew's first job this week was to drop a Merchant's Despatch Lines refer at the factory in Rochester NY, for some repairs. Here we see 9020 dropping the car for pick up by the MDT shop switcher.

The MDT shop switcher # 15 is also a EMD SW. This one is a SW-8/9 by MTH with loco-sound, and manual couplers. I bought this from Trainz a couple years ago. It runs well but stalls on a switch or two. I have to swap the single roller pickups for dual roller.

While # 15 took care of business, 9020 headed back to the yard to grab a REA load and an empty gondola.

Heading out of town back to the interchange.

Finally, after a hard day's work, the crew heads back to tie down and hit the bar for a few cold ones!
