Love the 44 tonner focus of this Switcher Saturday, which Melgar so artfully and insightful lyrics began.

One of my first locomotives I got as a child is this Lionel Postwar B&O 44 ton center cab diesel:

It has always been a very peppy runner, which was just fine with me when I was a kid

Next, is this MTH PS3 NY & Ontario 44 ton center cab diesel, which I purchased from Forum Sponsor JR Junction Hobby for approximately $400. Here it is hauling Lionel Postwar operating milk cars to the ball park.
