Additions to this issue of the Brass Scrapbook include Division Point's lightweight PS/Budd cars in Rio Grande that included the Rio Grande's business car "Wilson McCarthy" in the later 1960's through the end the McCarthy era detailing.
Rio Grande's F units always looked nice in the 1 stripe scheme. Budd's C&O "Chessie" low profile dome coach bought direct from Budd in 1949 by the Rio Grande stands behind.
Boo-Rim Precision built these cars for The Division Point
1 stripe scheme in use still today with "Kansas"
Fully lighted these fine models make an excellent consist.
While on the subject of passenger cars; how about a little Coach Yard!
Oh how I love Coach Yard; and in time I will make entire issue of the Brass Scrapbook dedicated to the various fabulous sets Fred Hill has brought us in 1:87. These models are simply spectacular; in my opinion worth their weight in gold.
The marque of the finest passenger cars ever made!

Coach Yard came up with his "Darwin" coupler box that is adjustable for various radius curves. Yes even HO has tight radius issues; and with the "Darwin" you can tighten up those diaphragms just like the 1:1 cars as long as you have some mighty realistic diameter curves.
What I would not do too see these fine miniatures in 1:48
Selected cars from the 1938 Santa Fe "The Chief"
Correct dining room detailing and even China patterns faithfully reproduced. Simply marvelous.
