Reply to "Topside Creeper"

FWIW department....

The topside creeper is a staple shop investment for folks who service trucks and other high-wheeled vehicles.  There are a couple local, large automotive shops that sell these.  They even show up on Craig's List from time-to-time.  If you search "Topside Creeper Images", you'll see how they're more typically used in this arena.

Ergo, MicroMark, while catering to our hobby exceptionally well, is not the only game in town for this device. Poke around the auto/truck service tools purveyors....they might have some choices....and a unit or two you can try for working/storage comfort.

I considered getting one of these myself.  However, my basement (layout location) ceiling is only about 7'-6" in height.  As soon as I stood on the first rung and tried leaning into the chest rest I realized I would be too close to the ceiling tiles and pot lights to be comfortable.  I nixed the idea.

Again, FWIW, always....
