Very nice. What are you using for your curbs?
If you mean the sidewalks along the parks edge, I'm using 3/16" plywood, cut into strips 1 1/2" wide. My roads are 1/4" masonite so this makes the walkways 1/16" above the road surface.
I found a a spray paint called "Outdoor Decor" which has a textured finish in a sort of sandy colour, which gives a pretty decent concrete look.
Bruce.......your peaceful park sure does look peaceful.......I also have one of those small pedestrian bridges you have, and hopefully can work it in somewhere.
Alex.......wow, now thats an amusement park, I was thinking of trying to run down one of those chain swing accessories for my park as well. That would be another real eyecatcher, but I don't have all that much room, and don't want to end up with it looking all jammed in, after all it's just supposed to be a Town Park.
By the way Alex, where did you get the black iron fencing. I was thinking about going that route and fencing the park all around. I do have some wooden picket fencing that I will be running along the trackside, but the iron fencing would look better on the street sides.
Thanks for looking, and responding.
REV
Hi Rev sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner, I just came home from vacation.
The Iron fencing is from model power. Most hobby shops carry it, and it's cheap
Let me know if you need the item number.
Thanks, Alex
