NC&StL Locomotive 576 – Centennial Park, Nashville, Tennessee
Visited on Sunday while on our family reunion.

The only surviving Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Dixie Locomotive, number 576 is a 4-8-4 steam engine built by ALCO in 1942. The Class J-3 Locomotive was known as a Dixie in the NC&StL, (called a “northern" elsewhere)
