Well how about a little "Rock" this Wed...RI got as far west as Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma so I am going to say it qualifies as a "western" road. This is a Marx #799 Rock Island GE 70 ton switcher, available 1959-1965. Although its hard to make out, the caboose with it is a lightweight, Marx RI 4 wheel caboose. Even at 60+ years of age, like most Marx loco's, this one has no trouble pulling its small train around my mostly flay layout with 0-31 and 0-27 curves.
