@trestleking Those diecast cars are really great, I have several. Love the real coal loads. I'll have to remember CB&Q counts as a Western RailRoad. I am mostly Midwest Railroads but have a Norfolk and Western 611 and a couple of Pennsylvania GG1s. Since you made it out as far west as the CB&Q, consider the Milwaukee Road (Chicago Milwaukee St Paul and Pacific) with their innovative engines and great color schemes. Hard to believe they could keep a time schedule and hit speeds of 100 mph in the 1930s. So much for progress.
