I use u-shaped plastic conduit clamps in 3/4 in and 1-in sizes that I get by the bag on Amazon. I also drill 1-in holes in the center of my 2x4 bench work. This does not affect the structural integrity of the wood. Amazon also sells the little sticky mounts for tie wraps which use sometimes as well like on the back of the control panel.
