If already LEDS, simply add the capacitor to the output wires from the existing board. You do need to match the polarity for the capacitor to work. Use a meter to detect the plus and minus outputs.

They're obviously incandescent bulbs, did you look at the picture? That's why I recommend simply bypassing the board and just using it for the flashing light.
