Found out something today in regards to the DC power pack that is used with Lionchief and Lionchief +. I bought a brand new LED caboose , put it on the track and the results were NO interior lights would come on. The smoke unit worked on the caboose but no lights. After trying to figure the problem out with my dealer it turns out LED lights will NOT work with The DC power pack. If you picked the caboose up and put the rollers on the two outside rails the lights work. I am guessing its a DC power pack LED issue because everything else works fine. Now the question to Lionel, what will happen when I use the plug and play system track and attach it to my existing 72 watt DC powered track. Will I have an issues going forward with LED lights using plug and play accessories And plug and play track attached to my layout which is using 72 watt DC power supply?
