Hi,

Seem to be having an issue with my new Legacy 990. For the first two months it was working fine. Recently though when I fully throttle down and apply to break the engine will come to a complete stop but three to five seconds later it begins to slowly creap forward, or reverse if I had been in reverse.

Spoke to Lionel and they are not sure what's going on but suggest I return it for repairs.

Before I return it I thought I would ask forum members if they have experienced similar problems and if anyone has come up with a good quick fix.

thanks

JohnE

With mine when I apply the brake, it does not do anything to the throttle wheel. That (at least on mine) needs to be throttled down to a complete stop. Otherwise, when the brake is released the locomotive will start moving back up to the speed at which it was last set. Look at the speed graph in your CAB-2 Remote's display. You will see your speed setting line stay where it was when you applied the brakes.
