I had not seen "Weekend at the Movies" yet, so perhaps Jeffrey is away. I decided to run some of my B&O, which has been shelf-bound for quite awhile. Here's my post-war FA's, former Rock Island units, showing that Magna-Traction still has the ability to pull long trains.

Looks like the B&O needs some hand laid tracks & ties, from my You Channel, June 2016.

Welcome to The Detroit Model Railroad Club, Holly, Michigan. This video will start with a Union Pacific SD45 running on one of the main lines. The SD45 is a MTH Premier with scale wheels. If you run Lionel 3 Rail Track, or HO, you will find this demonstration very helpful to see how hand laid track is done.

There is also a detailed demonstration on the procedures for laying out ties for hand laid track. The club was established in 1935 and has always been a 2 - Rail, O Gauge Layout. The club moved to this location in 1975, when they purchased the Historic Holly Theater.

Next, a Williams F unit and pair of Geeps handle the coal, while a Lionel Geep takes the intermodal train. An MTH RDC shuffles commuters back and forth.

BANDOB - now thats a prototypical B&O locomotive consist if I ever did see one, an F unit followed by 2 geeps!  Reminds of days gone by when I was a kid watching B&O trains on the Washington Branch ( now called the Camden Line ).

Thanks for the memories!!!
