i have 7 switches and tmcc and ross switches, correct me if i am wrong but i am led to believe that i can

Set up and create routs with all switches in correct position store them on tmcc and use when appopriate, then can change switches to another route all from one hand held!

have not wired the switches in yet, nor purchased the sc=2

Assuming that the Ross switches are using a DZ1000 or DZ2500, yes, you should be able to do what you want.

However, the SC-2 offers only 6 ports for switches. Thus, at least 2 of your switches would need to be wired to the same port for use as a crossover (if one switches, they both switch) OR you'd need to buy a second SC-2 for the extra switch.

 

Under the TMCC system, Routes can be built by naming a route (e.g. #1) and then selecting each switch that will be part of that route and indicating if it should be set to straight path or curved path. 

You can have numerous routes and they don't all have to incorporate all of the switches.

 

Note that when you activate a route, the SC-2 doesn't throw all of the switches at once. Instead it throws them one at a time. The amount of time that this takes might be adjustable. I believe that it does this to not stress the electronics with one big jolt.
