I recently, as in 10 minutes ago, finished up, a couple Ye Olde Huff-n-Puff boxcar kits. I have a little more work to do on the CS&CC door tracks, but they're finished for the most part.

The CS&CC roof and ends were painted with Krylon gloss leather brown, and the sides were brush painted with scale-coat 1 reefer yellow. Dry transfer lettering was purchased from Clover House.

The Santa Fe boxcar was painted with Scale-coat 1 boxcar red from a spray can, and again, lettered with Clover House dry transfers.

Both cars were sprayed with Krylon flat clear before and after the dry transfers were applied. No primer was used on either car. Both cars are "transition" cars, meaning a Kadee coupler on one end, and a Lionel type coupler on the other. The trucks are Lionel die-cast archbar type.

Mistakes were made, and the learning process continues, but I enjoyed building them, and look forward to building more.
